One of Shamil's sons has passed away, and the other, Gabil (Samimi Farhad) got married then, left for Russia without informing anyone, leaving his family, now under the care of his father.
Shamil now lives with his daughter-in-law Sara (Ilaha Huseynova) and his 11-12-year-old granddaughter Jalal (Hasan Aghayev). One day, unexpectedly, the son returns. He informs his father about his intentions to take his family to Russia, sells the cherry orchard, and takes the money with him.
